In fall 2010, PCCY seeks a highly organized, motivated intern to help do outreach to potential applicants in diverse geographic areas of Philadelphia, supervise the grant application process, and help set up an exciting awards ceremony at World Café Live.

The Picasso Project also advocates for long-term improvements in funding and sustainability of arts for children in Philadelphia public schools through producing policy reports, and creates awareness by means such as writing letters to the editor and testifying at School District and City Council meetings. In addition, the intern will get exposure to all elements of running a non-profit, including fundraising, working with board committees, and advocating for change in arts education policy in the Philadelphia region.
