PHS Green City Teachers – Nov 2
Posted by Pennsylvania Horticultural Society on October 5, 2021
Green City Teachers, which is traditionally a space for youth educators inspiring the next generation of gardeners, is back again! Over five weeks, we will cover topics like basic horticulture, light gardening, and so much more.
Open to anyone working with kids. You do not need to be a teacher, and you do not need to work in Philadelphia to participate.
If you purchase a “Green City Teachers Kit,” you’ll have everything you need to follow along with the weekly workshop demonstrations: materials for starting a container garden, PVC to build light structures for indoor growing, worm bin starter materials, etc. You do NOT need to purchase a kit to participate in the workshop series.
Workshop dates: November 2, 9, 16, 23, & 30
Time: 6:00-8:00 PM
Participants will receive a link to a video conference prior to the date of the event.
