PHLConnectED Week – Dec 14-18
Posted by City of Philadelphia on December 15, 2020
The City of Philadelphia is hosting PHLConnectED Week from Monday, December 14th to Friday, December 18th! During this week, the City and its partners will promote PHLConnectED and encourage families to sign up for the program, which provides free internet access to K-12 families in need. The week will kick off with an announcement about expanded eligibility for the program—meaning even more K-12 families can get connected to free internet access. The City and its partners will also be reaching out to K-12 families about this updated eligibility directly through texts, emails, and phone calls. As the first marking period comes to a close, the City and its partners want to ensure that students are ready for the new year. Let’s get as many families without internet access to dial 2-1-1 and press 1 for English or press 8 for Spanish or translation services, activate their enrollment codes, and pick up their hotspots this week. Spread the word and let’s all work to get families connected
