PhillyGoes2College Intern (unpaid position*)

The Mayor’s Office of Education is launching the PhillyGoes2College campaign to encourage and assist Philadelphia residents in acquiring a college education.

PhillyGoes2College is organized into four major components: an information and referral service for students at all levels, parents, returning adults, employees, etc.; a media campaign to increase public awareness; citywide college prep events; and a website that provides comprehensive information on resources available to city residents.

Duties:  Design and maintain an information rich, innovative, interactive, user friendly website for PhillyGoes2College.  Assist with media campaign by using website to promote events, communicate deadlines, highlight important messages and link with relevant websites and other web-based tools.

Qualifications:  Seeking individual who is highly organized, self-directed, with demonstrated creativity and strong work ethic.  Must have website design experience, strong written and interpersonal communication skills, some graphic design and knowledge of college prep process helpful.

Start Date:  Immediately
