PhillyCAM Open House for Non-profits
Posted by on December 11, 2011
Tis the season to come together and celebrate our community!
Open House for Non-profits (4pm – 6pm)
On Wednesday, December 14, PhillyCAM will host a special Open House for non-profit organizations, grassroots community groups and artists collectives. You’ll have an opportunity to learn about how PhillyCAM helps community-serving groups get messages out via public service announcements, special television programs, and events. Current organizational members will share their first hand experiences about how they have used PhillyCAM resources to expand their skills and share their messages. We will also be giving tours of our new production facilities and community meeting space.
When RSVP please indicate if you will need childcare during this meeting.
Holiday Potluck Social (6pm – 8pm)
Following the Open House for Non-profits join us for a Holiday Potluck Social. Mix and mingle with other PhillyCAM members, producers and staff. This is a good time to meet and learn about some of the individuals who have participated in PhillyCAM workshops and are producing programming content for the public access channel. PhillyCAM will provide the cheer. Food donations are very much encouraged. Let’s see how creative the PhillyCAM community is in the culinary department!
Suggested Potluck Social donations:
Baked goods, crunchy snacks, dips, cheese or veggie trays, soft drinks or your own holiday special recipe.
When RSVP please make a note if you are able to bring something to share. Thanks!
