Philly Schools Town Hall
Posted by Office of Councilwoman Helen Gym on October 17, 2016
Last year, our town halls established a community agenda that put a full-time nurse and counselor in every public school, restored water access in our school buildings, and worked to end split grades and massive overcrowding.
Our Philly Schools Town Hall is coming to the Northeast to hear what you have to say about class size, climate and safety in schools, and the quality of your school facilities. Tell us what you want the School District to prioritize in its next budget, and let’s work together to send that message loud and clear.
Community members are encouraged to come to George Washington High School (10175 Bustleton Ave Philadelphia PA, 19116)) on October 26th at 5:00pm, to share their stories and to weigh in on the needs of their schools.
Any member of the community is welcome to testify.
