Overview of the Philly OST Coalition:
There is an ongoing Out-of-School Time (OST) funding crisis in Philadelphia! The Philly OST Coalition is a group of stakeholders resolved to instituting a plan that educates our new city leaders and builds on relationships in order to change the way OST is supported. To achieve this, we have joined with Pennsylvania Statewide Afterschool Youth /Development Network (http://www.psaydn.org) to form the Philly OST Coalition.
The Philly OST Coalition is dedicated to the sustainability of quality OST in Philadelphia by making the following items top priorities:
1) Educate our civic leaders and strategically inform the budgeting process
2) Garner support to enhance sustainability efforts
3) Secure dedicated funding for quality OST programs
The Philly OST Coalition invites you to join its out-reach efforts in support of our mutual goals.
