Idealist founder to speak at Net Tuesday event
The topic of the next Philly Net Tuesday is Community and Communications, and the event will take place on Tuesday, December 2nd from 6-9 pm at the Friends Center, 1501 Cherry Street in Philadelphia.
This session will feature a panel of people who have given voice to their passion to do good in the world. The six panelists from five organizations are people who bring together like-minded souls for collaboration, resource sharing, and mutual support using the Internet to foster a community of people, local or global, who share a common interest in better communication for a worthy cause.
Panelists include Ami Dar, founder of Idealist.org, Alex Hillman of We Work in Philly, Jim Wurster of Timebank Media, Sonia and Sergio Lub of Friendly Favors, and Helen Kemp of Just Got Made.
