Philly DoGooder Awards opens second year
The PhillyDoGooder Awards has announced that in 2014 it will not only offer video awards but will also recognize important community leaders and organizations.
As part of the video competition, socially-minded organizations (not-for-profit and for-profit) may submit a video they have created in the past 12 months that tells a compelling story of their mission to do good. A Video Hackathon, to be held on January 20th, will pair local volunteer filmmakers with social impact organizations to create short films that may then be submitted to the larger video contest.
Individuals and organizations can also be nominated for their good work and innovative approaches to solving social problems.
