Vanguard Charitable issues RFP for Philanthropic Impact Fund

Vanguard Charitable was founded in 1997 as an independent 501(c)(3) public charity that believes in the importance of long-term, strategic charitable planning through a donor-advised fund.

To that end, Vanguard Charitable has issued a request for proposals for its Philanthropic Impact Fund (PIF), which provides grants to organizations and charities working to support and promote the advancement of the philanthropic sector and/or overall philanthropic giving. The fund accepts proposals from nonprofit organizations whose programs meet one or both below criteria:

Support of Nonprofits Working to Improve or Support the Philanthropic Sector: Including to educate nonprofits on providing effective, efficient solutions within their mission; and support specific organizations to increase their capability and capacity to deliver meaningful solutions.

Support of Overall Philanthropic Giving by Individual Donors: Including to educate donors on effective and impactful charitable giving; and provide valuable information about nonprofits and their missions to allow more informed granting decisions from donors across the country.

A completed RFP packet should be emailed to PIF@vanguardcharitable.org by March 15, 2022. Funding is typically awarded by the end of June.

To be eligible, applicants must be a 501(c)(3) registered nonprofit.
