Philadelphia Writing Project 2018 Invitational Summer Institute
Posted by University of Pennsylvania on May 14, 2018
The 2018 Invitational Summer Institute focuses on teaching and learning with historical primary sources to open up inquiries into community, equity, and change. For more than 30 years, K-12 teachers across disciplines have explored how and why writing and literacy are critical tools for learning. This summer we will consider how primary sources can support interdisciplinary learning, challenge assumptions of a single story, and encourage reflection on how (hi)stories are told and interpreted.
