Philadelphia STEM Ecosystem New Website Resource: Voices in STEM
Posted by Philadelphia STEM Ecosystem on October 6, 2026
Curious about a particular STEM career or field? Explore our new resource, “Voices in STEM”, a Girl Scout Gold Award project created by high school student Nuha Maryam. The resource shares stories and insights from professionals across a wide range of STEM careers, helping inform and inspire young people from underrepresented communities.
From healthcare to gemology, “Voices in STEM” highlights both familiar and lesser-known career paths and offers a glimpse into the people, experiences, and opportunities behind them. You may even discover a STEM career you didn’t know existed!
Are you a student interested in interviewing a STEM professional and contributing to “Voices in STEM”? Or are you a STEM professional willing to share your experiences with a student interviewer? We’d love to hear from you! Please reach out to the Philadelphia STEM Ecosystem Manager, Betsy Payne, to learn more and get involved.
