Are your students curious about solar energy? Come learn how to harness the power of the sun.
The Philadelphia Solar Energy Association is holding a free teacher training for the Junior Solar Sprint on Saturday, January 11, 2025, 9:30 am – 1:00 pm at the Friends Center, 15th and Cherry Streets, Philadelphia, PA.
This training will prepare you to teach middle and high school students how to design and build model solar cars in preparation for the Junior Solar Sprint later this spring on the Drexel campus.
All the teacher training materials, breakfast and lunch will be provided. Act 48 credits are available. A tool box full of all the hand tools you’ll need to build these cars will also be provided.
