PSSC to hold celebration, discussion
More than 3 million children are reported as abused and neglected each year in the US. Every day some of our city?s families and children have fallen victim to the destructive trends associated with child abuse and neglect. The Philadelphia Society for Services to Children (PSSC) prevents child abuse and neglect by building on the strengths of families.
On June 14th, from 4:30 to 7:00 p.m., PSSC will be celebrating another year of successful prevention programs. At this event, live testimonials from individuals and families who have benefited from the organization?s work will be featured. The event will also feature a discussion among local politicians and community leaders on what we can do collectively to support prevention.
This is an important time for PSSC, so please come help them celebrate their successes as they strive to continue creating key relationships to move forward and increase the number of children and families they serve.
