Innovation Journal to launch winter edition
The Philadelphia Social Innovations Journal will launch its winter edition with a reception on Tuesday, February 2nd from 4-7pm at the BNY Mellon Center, 1735 Market Street in Philadelphia. The event will feature a Census Innovation Competition, a Meet the Innovators Panel, and a reception.
The Census Innovation Competition offers a $250 cash prize to the person or organization that helps to come up with an innovative solution to the following challenge from Mayor Nutter to help solve a major challenge that, if not solved, will have a negative impact on our region. This quarter’s challenge is: What is the best way to make sure that when the census form is delivered in the mail this March, all residents — particularly our hardest to reach — fill it out and send it back?
The best ideas will be presented to a panel of judges at the February 2nd event.
To submit your innovative idea, write it down in no more than one page and email it to [email protected] by January 25th.
To RSVP for the reception, email [email protected].
