2nd Annual Fabric Swap Meet
What began last year as an event for stitchers to trade unused fabric, has grown into a festival for all things sewing. This year?s 2nd Annual Fabric Swap Meet will feature demonstrations, hand massages, hors d?oeuvres, information booths and of course a whole lot of fabric for sale and swap!
Demonstrations include: spinning, felting, dyeing, upholstery, as well as machine and hand sewing. Nonprofit groups such as Breakfree Youth Design and Education Works will be on hand to distribute information on local sewing and crafts programs.
Funds raised from this event will go towards purchasing machines and supplies for PSC?s public classes held at the Old Pine Community Center. Fabric donations will be given to select recipients of United Way of Southeastern PA?s Gifts in Kind Program.
