Philadelphia Roadmap for Safer Communities Listening Tour – May 4
Posted by City of Philadelphia on May 3, 2022
The Office of Policy and Strategic Initiatives for Criminal Justice and Public Safety has been engaging impacted communities in the implementation of the Philadelphia Roadmap for Safer Communities.
These meetings are to ensure we are centering the needs of the community, authentically building relationships with neighborhood level partners to gain feedback on the roadmap, as well as learning how the City can continue to sustain violence prevention efforts. Since early March we have been holding community listening sessions across the city in neighborhoods most impacted by gun violence.
These gatherings have taken a hybrid community meeting approach, offering both in-person and virtual options to attend. CJPS has partnered with stakeholders across the city to ensure that critical community leaders, residents, business owners, and institutional partners are aware and can attend.
The last meeting is Wednesday May 4, 6:00-7:30 PM – Belfield Recreation Center, 2109 W. Chew Avenue 19138.
