STEM Teachers in the Philadelphia area are invited to attend this FREE full day workshop centered around learning STEM Content in the context of teaching STEM Content to secondary students! We are excited to present a variety of math and science workshops all aligned with the School District of Philadelphia Scope and Sequence, the PA Core Standards, the NGSS and where applicable, the Keystone exams. Workshop presenters will help STEM teachers understand the content they are expected to teach in the months following the workshop in a way that is student-centered and engaging! You will learn and have fun too! Meet other teachers in your field and hear a great Keynote Speaker: Simon Hauger (http://poptech.org/people/simon_hauger), Co-Founder of the Workshop School, an SDP school with an innovative, project-based curriculum! You don’t want to miss this day! Breakfast, lunch and Act 48 provided!
