Philadelphia Planning Commission: Call for Community Partners and Info Session – May 15
Posted by The Philadelphia City Fund on May 13, 2025
Join the Philadelphia City Planning Commission in planning for Philadelphia’s future! Help Philadelphia city planners develop a comprehensive plan that will influence the way the city looks, new housing opportunities, how public spaces and infrastructure are supported, and the big decisions Philadelphia will face over time. We’re calling this plan Phila2050: Planning Together.
Apply to become a Phila2050 Community Partner. Community Partners will receive funding to help residents share their stories, imagine the future of our city, and work with the Philadelphia City Planning Commission to develop ideas on how to achieve their goals. They will also take a specialized Citizens Planning Institute course to learn about comprehensive planning and strengthen skills in data collection and analysis. With support from City staff, Community Partners will host community engagement activities, help shape the final Plan and share back what they learn.
Community groups may apply for a 9-month partnership funded at $15,000 or an 18-month partnership funded at $30,000.
Learn more about the opportunity in the Call for Community Partners.
Application deadline is May 30, 2025. Applicants must complete the application using the application form.
RSVP to attend a virtual information session on Thursday, May 15, 2025, at 6:00 PM.
