[From the PACDC Newsletter]
The Program Officer, one of three PNDC staff, contributes significantly to the smooth functioning of program operations. Program operations include, but are not limited to: review of CDC grant requests and annual workplans, assessing technical assistance needs and designing and implementing related activities. The Program Officer’s responsibilities also include the regular monitoring of grantee performance, which includes the provision of technical assistance and support to grantees on organizational development issues, as necessary. In addition, as PNDC engages in activities designed to improve the environment in which CDCs function, the Program Office will help support the design and implementation of innovative activities that advance the work of CDCs.
