This person will oversee the work going on at the regional level and aide in coordination/logistical needs of regional staff. The person filling this position has the option to live rent & bill free out of our office in Philadelphia (office, full bath, kitchen & bedroom)

Responsibilities will include:
? 30 hours min
? Finding office interns or setting up work studies with local universities to aide in office duties & work, and forming an office collective with these individuals (recruitment, training, & management)
? Being on all conference calls
? Checking phone/ email/voicemail
? Staying in close contact with regional coordinators & SEAC’s national network
? Attending national events and attend or find someone from the office collective to attend regional events if possible
? Database entry and maintenance
? Be on NC calls
? Sending out mailings & checking PO box
? Participating in the next hiring process and training
? Going through a training for trainers
? Working on the website
? Follow up with potential interests
? Chores & cleaning of office space and common areas

Strong Candidates Would Have a Number of the Following:
? Familiarized with organizing through a anti-oppressive framework
? Experience organizing on campus and in communities
? Some office experience
? Experience working on/organizing around social and environmental justice issues
? Demonstrated commitment to justice, and anti-oppression, with an anti-capitalist analysis
? Working knowledge of environmental justice issues, & alternatives to dirty energy
? Ability to coordinate satisfaction of incoming inquiries & requests
? Willingness/ability to roll with the punches and get work done in an unstructured environment
? Strong people/communication & networking skills
? Basic computer/web skills (will need to make spreadsheets, flyers, official word documents, petitions & update website)

Compensation: $4000 for a one-year period and optional free room.
