Philadelphia to host interfaith children and youth festival
This year’s Philadelphia Interfaith Children and Youth Festival, with the theme “Choosing Hope,” is sponsored by the Metropolitan Christian Council of Philadelphia and will be held at New Covenant Campus at 7500 Germantown Avenue, Philadelphia, on Saturday, September 24th and Sunday, September 25th.
The PICYF is an outdoor event for children and youth to celebrate diverse faith traditions and highlight community programs that enhance the spirits, minds and bodies of young people.
The scheduled weekend activities will included faith villages; health; fitness; nutrition; youth entrepreneurship; urban agriculture; food (international food court); kiddie land; dancing; music’ massage; petting zoo; arts and crafts; urban gardening and more.
