Philadelphia Housing Authority Housing Choice Voucher Lottery – Feb 5

The Philadelphia Housing Authority (PHA) has opened the HCV (Housing Choice Voucher, formerly known as Section 8) Waiting List through a lottery. HCV is a federal rental assistance program that helps very low-income individuals and families, including the elderly and people with disabilities, afford decent, safe, and affordable housing. Once the application period closes, a lottery will be conducted to select 10,000 applicants, who will then be placed on the Waiting List for the HCV program.
The HCV Waiting List Lottery is open until Sunday, Feb. 5, 2023, at 5:59 p.m.
