Philadelphia Foreclosure Prevention Resource Guide

Posted by on January 5, 2009

The Greater Philadelphia Urban Affairs Coalition (GPUAC) and its partners are pleased to announce the Foreclosure Prevention Resource Guide Winter 2008 Edition is now available online at http://www.gpuac.org/foreclosurehelp.htm.  This publication was designed to help professionals support clients who are at risk of losing their homes.  To keep up with the fast pace of changes in foreclosure prevention field, GPUAC revises the contents several times a year to ensure the information is as current as possible.  Developed by a team of experts, the Guide demystifies the foreclosure process, offers ways to preserve the client’s ownership of their home and provides important contact information.  New features include a simplified description of the Philadelphia Court Diversion Program and the new FHA Hope for Homeowners Loan Program.  One important loan program status update everyone should be aware of:

FHA Secure will no longer be available starting December 31, 2008.

Any corrections or recommendations can be made by contacting Don Kelly, Director of Community and Economic Development at GPUAC, by e-mail at dkelly@gpuac.org or by telephone at 215-851-1738.
