Philadelphia Food Policy Advisory Council accepting nominees
Posted by on September 30, 2013
The Philadelphia Food Policy Advisory Council (FPAC) is accepting nominees to add to its already accomplished and dedicated membership. The FPAC was created through the Mayor’s Office in 2010 to accomplish the food access goals set in Greenworks. For the past 3 years, the 17 member body has worked in four main target areas: Council Governance and Membership, Vacant Land, Anti-Hunger, and Workforce Development. Recently members formed two new committees, on Communications and Outreach and City Food Procurement.
If you are interested in getting involved, please email fpac@phila.gov or go to our website http://www.phillyfpac.org. Our next general meeting is open to the public and will be held on October 3rd from 10:30 AM-12:30PM at 1515 Arch St, on the 18th floor.
