Attend an Open House on Wed. April 15th to find out about the best leadership opportunity for youth in the City of Philadelphia right now, and how YOU and YOUR YOUTH can take part. Pop-up Play is offering this opportunity for FREE to the first 40 organizations and/or schools that work with middle and high school aged youth. Sign up below to save your spot!

At the Open House, you will learn about the first annual Philadelphia Festival of Play and how the youth you work with can be leaders at this event. Picture 200 youth of ALL AGES designing and leading activities like boat tag, obstacle courses, face painting and giant boggle for 2,000 children and their families. This June, young people representing youth programs and schools will lead the first Philadelphia Festival of Play located at the Independence Seaport Museum near the Spruce Street Harbor Park. The festival is hosted by Pop-up Play (http://www.popupplay.net)

What you will learn on April 15th:

  • What the Philadelphia Festival of Play is all about and how you and your youth can be involved.
  • The types of supports you and your organization or school will receive to help prepare your youth to be leaders.
  • How you can use the lead up to, and the Festival itself to meet grant deliverables, engage youth and enhance your program culture.
  • A chance to meet the other Festival Players.
  • Learn more about Pop-up Play and the creators of the event.
  • And play some mini-golf!

Because alcohol is being served, the Open House event for ADULTS 21+ ONLY.
