Presentation 1 (9:30 AM)
The School District of Philadelphia’s Office of Strategic Partnerships will discuss their Partnership Census efforts reaching out gathering important data on who is providing services to Philadelphia public students. The college access community is being asked to support the office’s efforts.
Presentation 2 (10:00 AM)
Temple University’s College of Education will present on the White House Commitments in partnership with the Office of the First Lady to expand post-secondary opportunities for underrepresented populations. We will also present on our coming attraction- College Access and Success Certificate slated to begin in the fall of 2015. Panelists include Patience Lehrman, Special Assistant to the Dean for Strategic Partnerships & Community Affairs, Dr. Niki Mendrinos, Senior Associate Director, Undergraduate Admissions-Welcome Center, Jennifer Carroll, Academic Advising Undergraduate Admissions, Professor James Davis, from the College of Education, Dr. Rashidah N. Andrews,Principal Academic Advisor, Academic Advising Center.
Opportunities for announcements from the floor will be available. If you bring information provide enough for 50 people.
