Philadelphia City Scholarship Program

The Philadelphia City Scholarship Program provides four-year assistance to undergraduate students in the amount of $1,000 per academic year. The program has been in existence since 1959 and has made awards to over 2,500 students. Applicants to the scholarship program must be in their final year of high school at the time of application. Additionally, the parents or legal guardians of students are required to be residents of the City of Philadelphia. City Scholarships are to be used for college costs at accredited colleges and universities in Philadelphia, Bucks, Chester, Delaware or Montgomery counties. The deadline for submission is Friday, February 21, 2014.
