Philadelphia Cares Social Change Leaders
Enrolling now for our pilot course, January 19 – June 2004*
Philadelphia Cares will launch a unique grassroots leadership program on Martin Luther King Day, 2004, to bolster agents of social, environmental and educational change. This six session course will teach advocacy, marketing, fundraising, public and media relations and project management. Additionally, the program will provide hands-on leadership opportunities, group projects, and one-on-one consulting on individual projects. Graduates will help develop a national model, connecting with emerging leaders across the country.
Who Should Apply?
*Compassionate individuals who want to take their volunteerism to the next level
*Social change entrepreneurs of every age, background and life experiences
*College students
*Corporate and non-profit professionals
*Grassroots organizers
