Philadelphia Cares Day
Posted by on August 12, 2005
It’s that time again!!! Philadelphia Cares Day is just around the corner!!
On Saturday, October 22nd thousands of volunteers will again gather to revitalize Philadelphia’s public schools. YOU can be part of this wonderful day, as volunteers refresh and beautify the places where children go to learn each day. Projects include painting murals with the assistance of local volunteer artists, planting greenery, painting fences, lockers, and classrooms, refurbishing libraries, and much more! Volunteer teams can consist of 1 to 100 people, and teams of any size can make a world of difference in just one day!
