PUP has been and remains a unique blend of organizing the unorganized, pulling together coalitions, being a progressive political force in the city, state and nation and an effective service provider for low-income persons. We are proud of our many concrete victories over the years that have raised important issues and won meaningful benefits for unemployed and poor people.
While times remain tough, we want to celebrate the courage of people who have joined together over the years to fight for jobs, decent unemployment benefits, health care, public employment programs and adequate wages and to fight against plant closings, mortgage foreclosures and evictions, government program and benefit cutbacks and tax cuts for the wealthy. We encourage you to join with us in a celebration of 30 years of struggle for fairness and equality.
Note the attachment which details prices and ads for the 30 Year Ad book. We hope you can come on the 3rd.
