Sessions will be 9-5 both days. The K-16 Partnerships Institute will focus various aspects of higher ed-school partnerships, particularly those that involve public schools in Philadelphia. Exact times for each session will be sent out to all attendees. This event has no cost of attendance and will be limited to those who submit the application below.
Sessions Include:
Thursday, June 2nd:
Student Teaching in Philadelphia
Partnering with CBO’s and Non-Profits
Best practices in service-learning training and reflection for college students
A Discussion with District representatives on current partnership opportunities
Friday, June 3rd
Current research in the field, and reviewing “Agreeing on What Matters”
Documenting our Work: Best practices in documenting work done in schools, and communication on and across campuses.
Discussion with Non-profits and CBOs on Priorities including collaboration on grant writing.
