PHENND Fall Institute: Partnerships for Postsecondary Success – Oct 23
Posted by PHENND on October 3, 2023
Calling the college access and success community!! A companion event to PHENND’s annual K-16 June Institute, the Fall Institute will focus on strengthening partnerships in support of postsecondary readiness for School District of Philadelphia (SDP) students. Attendees will hear from the SDP Office of Research & Evaluation on trends in graduation rates, summer melt, and college going. The SDP Office of Pathways to Graduation will also share its vision for its work going forward.
Exemplary local partnerships around postsecondary readiness and success coaching will be highlighted. Attendees will have an opportunity to share their thoughts and ideas about how the college access community as a whole can best support Philadelphia students on their journeys to and through college successfully. Finally, you will be introduced to the College Access and Success Ecosystem – a newly-formed, data-driven and collective effort to leverage the talents of nonprofits, school leaders, government and industry to move the needle on rates of high school, college, and postsecondary completion.
Breakfast and lunch will be provided. This event is free of charge thanks to the generosity of the National Partnership for Student Success Support Hub, the New York Life Foundation and the Lindy Family Foundation.
Date and Time: Monday, October 23, 2023 from 9:00am to 2:30pm
