The National Training and Information Center (NTIC) is presenting its first national housing and banking summit in Chicago, August 17-19th. People+Money: Making it Work in the Neighborhood, is a three day summit that will bring together neighborhood stakeholders (financial industries, regulators, government, non-profits, community organizations) to discuss cutting edge housing and banking issues in our communities.

For early arrivals, NTIC is hosting three neighborhood tours on Wednesday afternoon. The Summit officially begins Wednesday evening with a Welcome Reception.

On Thursday-Friday, there will be 12 workshops and three plenaries addressing topics ranging from the changes to the CRA regulation, African American Home Ownership, New Predatory Lending Scams, and the future of Affordable Housing.
