PA HOBY sets three day leadership seminar
The 2013 Pennsylvania East Hugh O’Brian Youth Leadership seminar will take place June 6-9 at Temple University Main Campus in Philadelphia.
HOBY programs provide high school sophomores, selected by their schools, to participate in unique leadership training, service-learning and motivation-building experiences. HOBY also provides adults with opportunities to make a significant impact on the lives of youth by volunteering. The local HOBY PA East conference will be inviting approximately 200 remarkable students from all over the Southeastern PA area. Over the weekend, the students will participate in leadership development activities as well as hear from experts in business, education, and volunteerism.
HOBY programs also provide interactive discussions with community, business and political leaders, as well as hands-on community service projects.
