As determined by local needs and program design, CCCC AmeriCorps members may engage in volunteer coordination and contact tracing support; public health education; youth education and mental wellness; and/or meeting basic needs resulting from the coronavirus pandemic.

AmeriCorps in Pennsylvania
This year, PennSERVE will support over 1,300 individuals in Pennsylvania as they meet community needs through service in AmeriCorps. AmeriCorps members dedicate themselves to intensive community service. The experience meets critical needs and provides on-the-job career training. AmeriCorps produces a triple bottom-line: for those who serve, those who are served, and for Pennsylvania’s communities.
AmeriCorps is the federal agency, formerly known as the Corporation for National and Community Service, connecting individuals and organizations through service and volunteering to tackle the nation’s most pressing challenges.
CCCC AmeriCorps grants are made possible through a partnership with the Pennsylvania Department of Health. The mission of the Pennsylvania Department of Health is to promote healthy behaviors, prevent injury and disease, and to assure the safe delivery of quality health care for all people in Pennsylvania.
