PennSERVE AmeriCorps Program and Planning Grants – Mar 3
Posted by PennSERVE on January 18, 2022
PennSERVE is seeking organizations to apply to engage AmeriCorps members in service to Pennsylvania communities! Across the country, AmeriCorps engages more than 80,000 Americans in intensive service each year at nonprofits, schools, public agencies, and community and faith-based groups. AmeriCorps produces a triple bottom-line: for those who serve, those who are served, and for Pennsylvania’s communities.
Two types of grants are available.
AmeriCorps Program Grants are available for the operation of AmeriCorps programs. Program grants enable organizations to recruit and support AmeriCorps members as they serve unmet community needs.
Planning Grants are available to allow organizations to develop plans to establish a new AmeriCorps program in Pennsylvania or to replicate a successful existing program in unserved or underserved areas of the state.
The Requests For Applications, which include complete descriptions of the funding opportunities and application requirements are available at here.
PennSERVE will host two information and technical assistance sessions for interested organizations.
AmeriCorps Program Grants: February 4, 2:00 – 3:30. Please register to attend.
AmeriCorps Planning Grants: February 11, 2:00 – 300. Please register to attend.
Applications are due March 3, 2022. Please contact [email protected] with questions about these funding opportunities.
