PennFuture’s Post-Election Forum
Posted by on October 8, 2004
On Wednesday, November 10, 2004 from 10:30 AM to 1:30 PM, PennFuture will offer a veritable smorgasbord for the politically inclined. Starring some of Pennsylvania’s best known and frequently quoted elected officials facing off with one another and statewide pundits and pollsters, PennFuture’s Fifth Annual Post-Election Forum offers an unprecedented opportunity to hear why the election turned out the way it did (that is, if the election is over by then).
The forum begins at 10:30 AM with a panel discussion on the election results featuring:
Pennsylvania Treasurer Barbara Hafer (D)
State Senator Jeffrey Piccola, Senate Majority Whip (R-Dauphin)
State Representative Michael Veon, House Minority Whip (D-Beaver)
State Representative Brett Feese, House Majority Whip (R-Lycoming)
John M. Baer, Columnist, Philadelphia Daily News
Peter L. DeCoursey, Political Reporter, Harrisburg Patriot-News.
The forum will be moderated by John Hanger, President and CEO of PennFuture.
Immediately following the panel, lunch will be served. The luncheon speaker will be pollster Dr. G. Terry Madonna, Director of the Center for Politics and Public Affairs, Franklin and Marshall College.
Tickets to the forum, which is being held at the Harrisburg Hilton, are $25 for the general public, $15 for PennFuture members.
To purchase tickets, go to http://www.pennfuture.org or call 800-321-7775.
