Penn Engineering: Provost’s Summer Mentorship Program (SMP) 2026 – Apply by Mar 10

Join the Penn Engineering track of the award-winning Provost’s Summer Mentorship Program.

Over four weeks, students will:

  • Design & build robotics systems
  • Explore bioengineering & technology applications
  • Participate in dry- and wet-lab experiences
  • Solve real-world engineering challenges
  • Experience college-level STEM learning

Students collaborate in teams and present at a final research symposium.

Eligibility:

  • Philadelphia students entering 10th or 11th grade
  • Minimum 3.0 GPA
  • 250-word essay required

Commuter program: SEPTA passes provided

Lunch provided.

Program Dates and Times: July 6 – July 31, 2026 | Monday–Friday | 9:00 AM – 4:00 PM
