Penn Engineering: Provost’s Summer Mentorship Program (SMP) 2026 – Apply by Mar 10

Join the Penn Engineering track of the award-winning Provost’s Summer Mentorship Program.
Over four weeks, students will:
- Design & build robotics systems
- Explore bioengineering & technology applications
- Participate in dry- and wet-lab experiences
- Solve real-world engineering challenges
- Experience college-level STEM learning
Students collaborate in teams and present at a final research symposium.
Eligibility:
- Philadelphia students entering 10th or 11th grade
- Minimum 3.0 GPA
- 250-word essay required
Commuter program: SEPTA passes provided
Lunch provided.
Program Dates and Times: July 6 – July 31, 2026 | Monday–Friday | 9:00 AM – 4:00 PM
