Peace Day Philly Events – Sep 15-21
Posted by Peace Day Philly on August 16, 2022
Peace Day Philly, the local initiative for the UN International Day of Peace, is almost here! Twelve programs over seven days, some in person and some virtual, September 15 – September 21.
2022 programs include: films, mediations, panel discussions on peace in the city and migration, an interfaith dialogue, a benefit jazz concert, a community march and an intercultural gathering. All are free. This year’s global theme is “End Racism. Build Peace,” and some of the 2022 programming relates to this theme.
We also invite you to come out on Peace Day, September 21, to the North Side of City Hall for our annual Peace Day program, starting at 11:20 AM. The event will include speakers on the 2022 theme, music and artmaking.
