What is the Science Inquiry Institute?

This week-long professional development is a space for you to learn how you can bring more science inquiry to your schoolyard and classroom. Inquiry science education is a pedagogical method of using exploration, discovery, and investigative questioning to teach science related content. In the words of one past participant, “The Institute exceeded expectations. I could not have anticipated that one week would effectively model a different process of learning that can be engaging for my students.”

What will the week look like?

Each day we will focus on a BIG IDEA about inquiry science weaving in the content taught through the CORE Science Modules. Each day will also be at a different location around the city. A few weeks before the institute, you will received more detailed information about locations and directions.

Your Commitment?

To secure a space you will be required to submit via mail a deposit of $75.00. Your deposit will be returned to you on the last day of the workshop in full.
