Posted by Philadelphia College Prep Rountable on November 19, 2019
Join us at the next @PCPRoundtable network meeting on Nov 21st, 9A – 11A at @TempleUniv Charles Library, 1900 North 13th Street, Philadelphia, PA 19122. The meeting topic is “Does College Access Matter in the College/University Admissions Process?”
Over recent decades many college and university admission offices has designated a position to focus on “college access” by either establishing relationships with programs or focusing on finding students who have had an active college access program experiences during the high school career. Admission professionals from various colleges and universities from the Philadelphia region will engage in an open and frank discussion on whether “college access programs” and/or “college access preparation” plays a part in selecting their class for incoming classes.
The meeting will also include time to “network”. Meet/greet with others who are college access and success advocates and professionals. Time to share: Bring your announcements to the community either by making an announcement and/or bringing copies of things to share.
