Patrick Corvington Approved to Head CNCS
Corvington Brings Expertise in Nonprofit Community, Awaits President’s Final Approval
On Thursday, February 11, the US Senate confirmed Patrick Corvington by unanimous consent as the new Chief Executive Officer of the Corporation for National and Community Service (CNCS). His confirmation now goes to President Obama, who nominated Mr. Corvington for the position in October 2009, for his signature.
