Partnership Community Development Corporation Seeks Director of Development

The Partnership CDC (community development corporation) is a local non-profit dedicated to inner-city economic development. We are located in University City/West Philadelphia. The Partnership CDC is dedicated to addressing the issues of affordable housing and economic development in West and Southwest Philadelphia. Specifically, The CDC builds affordable housing, supports the creation and expansion of new businesses and jobs at the neighborhood level, and works to revitalize neighborhood commercial corridors.

The CDC seeks a Director of Development to lead the organization?s fundraising and marketing efforts. The successful candidate must be a team player, strong leader, an excellent writer, responsible, and flexible. Must be able to multi-task. Must be able to handle special projects, and publicly represent organization and/or Executive Director. Must be able to work with public/private partners including foundations, corporations and government agencies. Must have a least 5 years fundraising experience. Prefer candidate with master’s degree plus certifications in fundraising and capital campaigns. Must have experience with Microsoft Word, Excel, Power Point, and Access, or be a quick study. Must be able to manage database and fundraising software. May sometimes require long hours. All qualified candidates are encouraged to apply. The CDC is an equal opportunity employer.
