Partners in Campus Community Engagement conference

Community engagement professionals in the Pacific Northwest will want to save the date, May 22-23, 2018.
Partners in Campus Community Engagement (PICCE, formerly known as INSLP), a working group of higher ed. institutions in Spokane, WA, will again host the Community Engagement Institute, a conference for faculty and community leaders focused on putting knowledge to work for communities. Look for an RFP soon seeking proposals in (1) engaged scholarship and (2) engaged teaching & learning. Faculty proposals undergo peer-review with awards offered awards for outstanding proposals in engaged scholarship and engaged teaching & learning. The conference also includes tracks led by community engagement professionals aimed at faculty new to community engagement as well as faculty with experience in engagement. Day 2 of the conference includes a track for community partners and the opportunity to meet to identify new partnerships.
