Position Description – Part-Time
Exercise Specialist – Fitness Center Manager
Responsibilities include:
- Plan and manage the daily operations and administrative details of Center in the Park’s Fitness Center, a Healthways Silver Sneakers site.
- Conduct orientation to the Fitness Center and to the equipment for older adult participants.
- Perform fitness evaluation and assess current level of ability for older adult participants joining the Fitness Center.
Knowledge/Skills Required Include:
- Certification in CPR and First Aid
- Silver Sneakers Certification – Preferred
Current certification by an approved exercise/fitness agency/organization or comparable education/training and experience
