Part-Time Educational Coordinator, Sustainable Business Network

SBN seeks a part-time Educational Coordinator to coordinate educational programming, including seminars, the Social Venture Institute, and the Circles of Entrepreneurs.

Desired skills and qualifications for this position include:
Experience working in business development and/or sustainability education
Event planning experience
Ability to facilitate groups and run meetings
Self-motivated; able to work independently and balance multiple tasks
Strong communication and writing skills
Experience working with diverse communities
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or other relevant field
Experience in curriculum development

Responsibilities:
Activities would include, but are not limited to:
Planning and executing monthly educational seminars;
Providing support for the Social Venture Institute, including logistics, curriculum, outreach and marketing, media relations, and partner relationships;
Providing support for the three current Circles of Entrepreneurs and helping to start new Circles;
Working with Program Committee to plan programs for 2008;
Engaging with business members and connecting them to educational opportunities;
Planning periodic special events, including the SustainaBall;
Other duties as assigned

This position is for twenty hours a week. Position is currently funded for one year, with possible renewal. Interested candidates should submit cover letter, resume and salary requirement by September 15th to:
