Part-Time Bike Mechanic, Bicycle Coalition – Jan 21
The Bicycle Coalition Youth Cycling Program is a youth program that fosters healthy habits, independence and leadership in Philadelphia youth through the sport of cycling. In order to maintain a fleet of 200+ bikes for our BCYC youth athletes to use across the city, we are looking for a Part-Time Mechanic to join our team!
The ideal candidate for the BCYC Mechanic role is someone who has a passion for and experience with both bicycle mechanics and investing in youth. They will bring an intermediate-advanced level of experience as a bike mechanic, leaving them competent as the head of our inventory and maintenance. The candidate should have the ability to quickly assess and repair mechanical problems on a variety of bicycles and be prepared to oversee a well stocked and operational shop space.
Applications received by January 21 will be prioritized.
