Parents Progressing with Life, Apr. 24
Posted by Progressive Life Center on April 23, 2019
Parents Progressing with Life (PPWL) is a free parenting program provided by Progressive Life Center, Inc. (PLC) in Philadelphia to empower parents. We take a creative look at positive parenting techniques and teach parents ways to apply these lessons to their daily lives. We welcome parents, grandparents, aunts, uncles, teen parents, foster parents, & any other family members caring for children.
PLC will provide weekly classes to individuals at ICJ whose lives have been impacted by mass incarceration and returning citizens. PLC will also provide lunch, transportation assistance (tokens based on need), graduation gift cards, resource information and other case management referrals when requested. Participants are requested to complete 12 parenting skills training sessions to qualify for graduation. Graduating participants will receive a certificate of completion. Parenting classes will be held every Wednesday.
