PARENT APPRECIATION MONTH EVENTS: 7 Ways in 7 Days (on the 7th day, we rest!)
Partners: Women’s Christian Alliance, PARENT POWER, The EARTHS and The School District of Philadelphia
1st Event: Thursday, October 2nd: City Council Proclamation for Parent Appreciation Month (by invitation only)
2nd Event: Friday, October 10th: Donuts for Dads and Muffins for Moms at Women’s Christian Alliance at 10 am
3rd Event: Wednesday, October 15th: Movie Discussion…”Won’t Back Down” at The School District of Philadelphia Auditorium at 6 pm
4th Event: Saturday, October, 18th: PARENT APPRECIATION DAY near Drexel University’s Armory, 34th & Market Streets, (call for exact location) 11 am – 2 pm
5th Event: Wednesday, October 22nd: PNC Family Budget Discussion at Dobbins High School begins at 5:30 pm
6th Event: Thursday, October 23rd: Conversation with Commissioner Simms at Dobbins High School, 22nd Street & Lehigh Avenue
7th Event: Thursday, October 23rd: Lights ON Afterschool at Meade and MLK Recreation Center 4 – 6 pm Family Game Night
